Summary0002076: Ardour crashes on displaying splash screen
DescriptionArdour crashes on displaying the splash screen
if installed with sudo scons DIST_TARGET=i686 DEBUG=1 install
and started with ardour3 on the command line.

It starts fine though, if I set the following
environment variables:
$ pwd
/home/jack/src/ardour
$ export ARDOUR_PATH=gtk2_ardour/icons:gtk2_ardour/pixmaps:gtk2_ardour:.

my system is the latest Ubuntu studio w/rt kernel
(Linux audio-develop 2.6.22-14-rt 0000001 SMP PREEMPT RT Mon Oct 15 01:05:51 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux) running on Athlon64X2/NForce4

It looks like there is a problem loading the images.
(The crash occurs when trying to display the splash screen)
