| Description | When I click the mute button on any track in the editing window the mute button will turn yellow as expected although the track will not actually mute. This is true for multiple tracks as well as the master track mute button. The solo button works as expected. | ||||
| Additional Information | Ardour 2.8.7 Build 7387 Using Ubuntu 10.10 x64. Noticed this bug in ubuntu 10.04 x64 as well. jack --version returns: jackdmp 1.9.6 | ||||

This is almost certainly a duplicate of 2832. Please take a look at that bug: http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=2832 and see if the suggestions there fix your problem. |

The bug fix for 2832 worked. Doing the patch on only the /etc/ardour2/ardour_system.rc did not automatically create a fixed copy of ~/.ardour2/ardour.rc i had to go in and change the ardour.rc file as well. the mute button now works as expected. |
