Summary0002046: 2.2 (Linux) - reimporting files with the same filename appends new versions to end of region instead of replacing it
DescriptionIf you import a file, then make a change to that file (say from an external editor and write over it), then remove it from the region list and reimport the file, instead of just the new file appearing in the region when you drag it into the timeline, the old one appears, along with the new one appended/concatenated to the end...so the region becomes twice as large...if you do it again, the region becomes three times as large with all 3 versions appearing one after the other (and the old audio still exists..not just the waveform)
