Summary | 0005910: Session fails to load - Ardour segfaults with output "corrupted double-linked list"
Description | Sometimes it takes a few trials for me to load a session, each time Ardour fails to load it from a different reason. This is one of these thingies. I launched Ardour, loaded session "Heartbeat" and it crashed while loading it, saying "segmentation fault". I include full terminal output.

Alas, none of the above output is related to the crash. - except "corrupted double-linked list"; and it's likely that this message does not come from from ardour but libpango/libcairo (font cache) which comes from your distribution, but that's just a good guess. please see http://ardour.org/debugging_ardour Alternatively you can check if the problem persists with the binary from http://ardour.org/download.html (which does not rely on distribution libraries). |
