Summary0003865: Integrated MIDI keyboard should obey channel selector
DescriptionAs of revision 9170, the keyboard integrated into MIDI tracks only sends notes on channel 1 whereas it should really send notes to whatever channels are selected for that track.

i agree, but with the proviso it will only send a note for 1 channel. we already have the logic in place for "which channel to use if multiple channels are selected".

There already seems to be the "Default Channel" menu to decide where MIDI notes go. What should be done with that?

I had never tried setting the default channel until now and I'm glad I did as it proves that we can already set the channel used to send notes from the integrated keyboard. If this menu is to stay then its name needs to be changed to reflect its purpose as it doesn't set the channel of newly drawn notes too but I think it would be made redundant if the channel selector did the same.
