| Summary | 0001448: Range selection only possible if track is selected. | ||||
| Description | Range selection of a single track only possible if that track is selected. This is a change in behaviour in how range selection used to work as I recall. Previously, clicking within a track with the range tool and dragging the mouse would create a range selection in that track(and any other tracks in that tracks 'edit' group) which is fairly similar to most other DAW's(apart from the edit group thing). As it is currently if I want to make a range selection in a single track(the most common operation for me) I have to select that track by clicking on the track header and then make a selection. This adds an extra step to the selection process and doesn't seem like an improvement to me. | ||||
