| Description | When selecting session->Clean-up->Clean-up unused sources, a dialog appears asking if you wish to continue. When "Clean-up" is pressed AND there is at least one unused source to clean up ardour 4 dumps core and crashes. This happens consistently on 4.0 and 4.1. 3.5 works properly. | ||||

I cannot reproduce; it works fine here. It's either something session specific or system/build-specific. Could you please get a backtrace? With a self-build version that's rather easy: cd gtk2_ardour; ./ardbg (gdb) run When ardour crashes: thread apply all bt thne attach the complete output (which can be several pages) here. If the issue is fixed in latest git all is fine. Thanks for the confirmation. No need to re-post the old backtrace. PS. yes, starting with version 4 Ardour releases are named after Eno Albums (incl collaborations). 4.0 was "(no pussyfooting)". Let's see if Eno can keep up :) |
