| Summary | 0004233: Meters & faders in MIDI tracks should change their scale according to whether they are metering/controllong MIDI or audio. | ||||
| Description | Putting a synth plugin into a MIDI track obviously transforms the signal at the point it's inserted from MIDI to audio. If the plugin is inserted pre-fader the fader is thus controlling the audio output of the plugin, but its range still goes from 0.0 to 2.0. Likewise, if the meter is set to 'post' or 'output', it's metering audio rather than MIDI, but the meter scale still runs from 0 to 127, as if it is still metering MIDI. | ||||
| Additional Information | Setting a custom meter point, and then dragging the meter point in the redirect box, does update the meter scale to reflect the type of signal being metered correctly. | ||||
