| Description | I have a feature suggestion to play a midi note when you select it with a mouse. This would give audio feedback that you have selected the note you want. In the case of ctrl-click to add more notes to the select, play each note as it is selected. For shift-click to select a range, just play the note selected with shift-click. Play the note with the correct length and velocity. Perhaps this feature could be configurable in case someone does not want it. | ||||

Also (perhaps obvious), the note played should be on the same midi channel as the selected note. |

Hearing notes everytime you select them would get really annoying imo, I believe qtractor plays notes when you change the pitch and I allready find that annoying. I do however agree it could be useful to quickly be able to check a note somehow, perhaps double clicking? or select and press some keycommand? |

This has been implemented for a long time, and is enabled if "Sound Notes" is enabled in the toolbar. |
