This is because just after BarController::switch_to_spinner() is called, the BarController receives a `focus out' event which causes BarController::entry_focus_out to be called which switches back to the bar again. Not sure why this event happens... |

The new panner widgets have re-purposed double-click for other things, and I can't find any way of entering pan values from the keyboard, so I'm re-opening this. |

it is not likely that this feature will return till post-3.0, probably via a popup window for the panner. there is no longer any concept of a single pan value per panner - the stereo panner, for example, has both width & position values. |

Done in 12577 for mono and stereo panners. |

That pretty much covers it: cheers! One little thing I noticed: the dialog for stereo panners behaves a bit strangely when width is negative (i.e. 'R' is to the left of 'L'). In that case the position can be set outside the allowed range in the dialog (though it doesn't appear to affect the channel strip's panner). |
