If you have zoomed a long way in to see detail, the scroll bar still has the same sensitivity as when you are zoomed a long way out. The result is that any movement of the scroll bar causes far too much movement of the canvas, to the point of being unusable !

As Ardour 3 now has a completely different implementation of the scrolling functionality I am resolving this issue.
