Summary | 0002141: Connecting ports using mixer doesn't work for MIDI
Description | If you click on the Input or Output buttons for a MIDI track, it displays a list of midi ports, however clicking one generates an error in the Ardour - Log dialog: AudioEngine: cannot connect a2j:FreeBoB Jack MIDI (capture): dev1c MIDI 1(a2j:FreeBoB Jack MIDI (capture):dev1c MIDI 1) to Midi 1/midi_in (ardour:Midi 1/midi_in) Connecting these ports via jack_connect and jack_disconnect from the command line works, although occaisonally causes Ardour to crash (report coming when I can get it to do it reliably/backtrace).

This seems to work ok for me in current SVN. Is it still a problem for you? |
