| Description | To change the height of a track, you have to click the "h" button and then select the size. It would be better if hovering over the edge of the track changed the cursor into a resize tool, and the track could be dragged to the desired setting. | ||||

I agree, even if it's not infinitely variable and just steps between the current predefined sizes. |

Although I do agree that having a handle to change the track height is worth implementing at some point are you aware that the track height can be modified by holding shift and using the mouse scroll wheel. If you don't have a scroll wheel I can understand that resizing may be slightly more unintuitive using the menu, which is why I think this feature may improve usability. |

I'm aware of that feature but find it tricky to use. Point the mouse at a large track and use the mouse wheel to make it smaller. As soon as the track gets small enough that the mouse is not within it's boundaries the re-size is applied to the new track being pointed at. So, you have to be rather dexterous and keep the mouse pointed at the correct track at all times. It's also too easy to roll past the size you require and have to come back again. Nice idea, but ultimately not the best solution. |

This feature was implemented and exists in recent versions of Ardour. |
