| Summary | 0001598: double-clicking on location markers does nothing but permanently grab mouse | ||||
| Description | Whenever I double-click on a location marker, the mouse pointer becomes a pointing hand icon, the editor window stays focused but does not respond to mouse clicks, no other application windows can become focused. Quitting ardour with Ctrl-Q causes it to quit and relinquish control of the mouse. BTW, what is double-clicking on a mark supposed to do? I expected it to bring up the rename dialog. | ||||
| Additional Information | This is with Ardour 2.0rc1 Tested with Xfce and Fluxbox | ||||

| | i cannot reproduce here, but as described this issue might be related to 0001525. cheers, doc |
| | Confirmed here. The first button press of the double-click goes ok, and when the second button press arrives start_marker_grab() happens and then events stop being received. Can't work out why :( |
| | Still there on 2.0.4 You just have to double-click on the text beside a marker or a meter (not on the marker itself) |
| | i am able to reproduce here in ongoing-rev2244. double-click on a text of location marker ('mark1') or meter marker ('3/4')will grab the mouse as described by other reporters. if i than click on the marker himself, the mouse become functional again. cheers, doc |
| | ...it actually happens with every other marker too (start, loop, tempo...). cheers, doc |
| | This appears to be fixed in ongoing@2538 - or rather I can't reproduce it. |
| | i am still able to reproduce in ongoing-rev2538 cheers, doc |
| | Still there on 2.3 (rev3029) This is annoying and I would raise the severity. |
| | this is resolved for me in v2.7.1 cheers, doc |
| | see notes. |
