Summary | 0001090: Loopable Record with Punch Range | ||||

here (ongoing) this works very well when sync is set to internal. if sync is set up to jack, every time the playhead reaches the punch-in point, a message window will appear with the information that the disc system is not fast enough to keep up with ardour (especially not fast enough to write data to the disk). if i do a normal recording (without the punch in/out) in jack sync mode, everything is going smoothly, so the message i get must have something to do with loop/punch record mode. the crossfades are switched off, as mentioned in the webSVN-ardour-log. jackd is 0.103.0 here and works great here. cheers, doc |
