Summary | 0009999: ZynAddSubFX Plugin GUI broken in Ardour
Description | Double clicking the ZynAddSubFX plugin in Ardour opens up a very broken GUI, but for some reason the GUI is fine when opening ZynAddSubFX as a standalone program. The plugin still produces audio, but the broken GUI makes it nearly impossible to configure.

It works fine here on debian (Xorg). Are you using XWayland on Ubuntu or Xorg? Could this perhaps be due to scaling? Do you have Ardour Prefs > Appearance > Ui/Font scaling set? if so Ardour also asks the plugin to scale.. |
|
PS. is this specific to zyn? Do other LV2 plugin UIs work? |
|
Okay, I switched to Xorg and now it works just fine. This was specific to just Zyn, all the other plugin UIs worked in both XWayland and Xorg. I tried changing the GUI scale in Ardour preferences, but that seemed to have no effect on the plugin scale. |
