| Description | This bug was verified a while back but it does not appear to be fixed yet. I really like the feature where when you double click on a MIDI tracks vertical piano scrollbar it applies zoom extents based on the height of all the MIDI note present in that MIDI track/centers the notes within the tracks height. Very useful feature. However I noticed an issue that occurs when using this feature. If you remove notes from top or bottom of MIDI region and then zoom extents again, it appears to remember/use the previous height before the notes were removed. Thank You | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | -Create a MIDI track -Draw in a new region -Set this MIDI track to be fully zoomed in (with the vertical scroll bars grips) -Add some notes vertically stacked from the top of the regions track height to the bottom -If you double click on the MIDI tracks vertical scroll wheel it will perform the zoom extents fine -Now try removing a good amount of notes either from the top or the bottom of that region -Then drag the vertical scroll wheel up or down so the notes are no longer visible (this step can also be combined or replace with an adjusting of the vertical scrolls scaling as well, because this occurs with the scale zoom out as well) -Then perform the double click zoom extents again to bring those notes back in focus -You will notice that the zoom extents brings those notes back in focus, but it still uses/remembers the height of the MIDI notes you added, before the step where you removed them from the top or the bottom of the region. | ||||
