> As it works now in Ardour, one has to manually make each point for the gain envelope. You can use the range tool to select a range, then switch to the draw tool (press 'd') and lower that range (which creates 4 points). switch back to the range tool (press 'r') and repeat. It is not identical to the image you posted since there is no ramp, but otherwise that workflow is available in Ardour.
