| Description | Hi I'm not sure if this has been reported, and I'm not sure what exactly causes this crash, but it happens often when I try to record on a drive that I don't have write access (I think that this is the reason), and then I cannot restart Ardour because too many jack server are running, here's the error I get when trying to restart: Ardour/GTK 0.9beta28 (built using 0.579.2 with libardour 0.878.4) Copyright (C) 1999-2005 Paul Davis Some portions Copyright (C) Steve Harris, Ari Johnson, Brett Viren, Joel Baker Ardour comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You appear to have more than 1 version of JACK installed. Try "locate jackd" to find both locations. In general, this is always a recipe for disaster. |
