It is possible to use some VST plugins in Ardour already. I have not got it working myself, but don't let that put you off. :) Here is a tutorial. http://www.djcj.org/LAU/quicktoots/toots/vst-plugins/ The main problem is the distribution restrictions on the tiny header file needed to compile apps to support VST. Otherwise, it could all 'just work'. Sigh. |
