Summary0009271: Time stretching of an audio region via drag and drop results in an audio region that is too small
DescriptionWhen I speed up/shorten an audio region with the time stretch tool via drag and drop and drag it to the previous bar, the region is a little bit too small after time stretching. You can hardly see it when zooming in, but when I duplicate the file a few times afterwards, the duplicates end up further and further away from the grid.

This only seems to happen when I speed up an audio region. If I make an audio region slower, duplicates of it remain right in the grid.
Steps To ReproduceOpen a new session

Import an audio file

Drag the audio region with the time stretch tool smaller to the previous bar

Click "Stretch/Shrink" in the dialog box

Duplicate the shrinked audio region a few times to see it

I must correct myself. When I make an audio region longer/slower the resulting audio region is a bit too long.
