Could you elaborate? Perhaps attach a screenshot of Ardour's mixer window, that may be helpful. Which synth plugins are you testing with? How is the signal routed (do you bypass the panner of the track..) |

It's a little hard to explain, but for instance I have Kontakt running 8 channels out in a midi bus which bypasses the panner. One of the channels is in stereo and is the one with the persistent static. On another project, I'm using a drum synth that outputs 8 channels. The kick is distorted in a similar fashion, however the other drums are normal. The panner is also bypassed with the drum synth. |

This issue only seems to be isolated with a few previously saved project files. When creating a new project, adding the same synths does not provide the distortion. |

It seemed the issue was occurring with Metaplugin's oversampling modes from a recent update. Closing this. |
