The issue here seems to be the key input. VST3 supports dedicated sidechain inputs. You have 2 options: (A) disconnect (or disable) the sidechain. If only the main input is connected, the plugin will automatically use it for the key signal (B) feed the key input with the source-signal |

Since Ardour 7.2-223 sidechains are now no longer connected by default and need to be manually connected. |
