|Description||My brand new download won't run on my new macbook pro. I verified that my download from the web site was the ARM version. After installing, I get the message: |
“Ardour7” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.
I downloaded the file at 4:50pm US Eastern time.
In looking at the file I downloaded, it has the name:
Given that the Mac is such a popular platform for music people, I'm really surprised it's not working for me. Maybe I've done something really stupid.
On my macbook, if I enter the command "uname -a" in the command window, I get:
