| Summary | 0000892: MIDI fader controls don't work after using MIDI transport | ||||
| Description | I'm using a Tascam US428 as a controller. I can assign physical faders to ardour's faders just fine, and they move around as they're supposed to. but if I use the board's transport functions, the faders stop working. With trace MIDI on, I see the midi signal from the faders before using transport, but not afterwards. arecordmidi shows all the correct signals are being sent. | ||||

I brought up the fader assigned to my first track up to 10 from 0, then hit play, then hit stop, then brought the fader up to 20. This is what "arecordmidi -d --port 128:0 /dev/null" reports: srussell@mouse:~$ arecordmidi -d --port 128:0 /dev/null Waiting for data. also, i mentioned earlier that transport didn't seem to be working at all, but during this test, ardour performed all transport functions as expected. |

|
This shouldn't be an issue anymore, but can you confirm with a recent version of Ardour (2.8 or newer?) |
