| Description | I cannot get individual vocal tracks or the entire vocals group (when enabled) to mute. By itself (no solos), clicking the M button has no effect on the button. It remains off. If I solo another track, all other tracks mute, but the the mute on the vocal tracks does not work. Specificlaly, the vocal M button will outline yellow along with the others but will not actually mute. | ||||

Unknown to this user, the Mute button apparently has options available on right-click. Checking all options on right-click changed the behavior and made Mute behave normally. This issue is resolved. |

Great that you found the solution yourself! There are also defaults for this in Preferences > Signal Flow. PS. The Yellow outline means that a track is *implicitly* soloed or muted. A common case is when soloing downstream busses eg. Track > Bus > Master. If you solo the Bus, the track must not be muted (otherwise you'd not hear anything). |
