| Summary | 0008865: VST3 midi timestamps are incorrect | ||||
| Description | Hi, so apparently Ardour 6.9 sends incorrect midi timestamps to vst3 plugins. This leads to notes not being played at the correct time / delayed, for example for Surge XT, see: https://github.com/surge-synthesizer/surge/issues/5830 | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) Load Surge XT synth plugin 2) Place some midi 3) Use a somewhat higher buffer size so it is better noticeable (2048 should do) 4) Play your midi notes 5) Notice incorrect playback/timing | ||||

I do not have surge installed, but I cannot reproduce this with other VST3 plugins. e.g Diva with a short attack is *spot on* when bouncing MIDI to audio. also buffersize independent. |
