Also, your mockup doesn't actually increase the area much at all. The entire LED area, not just the colored part, is active for button press events. Making it a rectangle does increase it a little bit, but it also makes the "button" much more visually intrusive. |

Nope. The active area is actually a rectangle, despite what is drawn on the screen. When I test it, I can click on any pixel in the rectangle touched by the outer circle's outer edge, and the click is active. |
