i am asking because the bug you are seeing is basically impossible, as far as i can tell. errors like this typically have been caused in the past by incorrect linkage and compilation. |

What information should I provide to help you understand the reason of this issue? |

well, one good step would be rebuild ardour after using ./configure --disable-optimize, and then post a new gdb trace. it will have slightly more information in it. |

we cannot replicate this bug. your trace suggests out of memory conditions, but gtk/glib should handle that by aborting. i believe there must be build issues with the ardour executable and/or libraries you are using. |
