| Description | When activating the Auto Input button and the transport is stopped I have audio in every channel despite its rec enabled or not. I think audio should come only through rec enabled channels to monitor those inputs only and to avoid the "doubled" monitored sound | ||||

you need to see the table of auto-input behaviour. alas, i can't give you a URL right now where you can see it. basically, this is not a bug, its the intended behaviour given the choices you've made about auto-input and/or monitoring options. i will post a URL for the auto-input behaviour when i find it. |

OK, now I see. I was expecting the auto input button to behave like the auto input in the old tape machines or adats, etc. Thanks in advance for the URL and this great software. |

it follows 100% the behaviour of the Alesis M20 ADAT recorder. however, ardour also has more monitoring options than the M20, and these are interfering with what you expect. it would much easier to explain this on IRC, #ardour at freenode.net ... |
