| Steps To Reproduce | Right click a plugin and open generic controls UI. Double click any field for keyboard data entry. Field never allows keyboard input. Tried LADSPA, lv2 and linux VST, makes no difference. Appears to be host UI issue. | ||||
| Additional Information | Discovered on Mixbus32C v6, builds 689, 697, 699. Does not occur in Ardour 5.12 or Mixbus 5.3.4 running in same operating environment. | ||||

Mixbus convention is to use double-click to reset a controller to the default value. As side-effect it's currently no longer possible to enter numeric-entry (also automation lane headers and other places). This change was made explicitly for Mixbus (Ardour is not affected). I suggest to contact Harrison support by email. |

I contacted Harrison support first. They said they "could not duplicate" the problem. "As side-effect it's currently no longer possible to enter numeric-entry (also automation lane headers and other places)." Sounds like a crippling effect for any plugin with a buggy GUI, or anyplace video/mouse resolution cannot get precise enough to set desired values. |
