Summary0008003: Playback in post-export dialog is very stuttery
DescriptionAfter exporting I often check the analysis dialog to see how the exported files look and sound like.
On Linux this works great, and I had no big issues with it.

But on Windows 10 this post-export file playback is terribly stuttering, repeating the same short slice of the file dozens of times, then moving forward a little and continues in this fashion. It's ear-sore.

I'm using PortAudio and MME driver.

We need more information to hopefully reproduce this.

Does Auditioning files from the Import Dialog work? Can you audition the exported file there?

Does this always happen, or only with a specific export-format? What format are you auditioning.

Does it work with ASIO? Does using buffered I/O help? Does increasing the buffersize make a difference?

I've recently got the same issue happening exactly that way on Manjaro Linux too using JACK back-end.

The exported format I have tested and experienced this with is WAV, 16-bit, 48 kHz (same as session and JACK server on Linux).

I haven't tested auditioning files yet.

Ok, I've just tested and on Manjaro Linux and this problems seems to happen during export analysis playback, auditioning a clip from Editor List / Regions and during Media Import preview playback.

I'm using JACK at 48 kHz, exporting WAV 16-bit 48 kHz.
