I was looking at the properties available when I create a new session. I found that there are properties here that effect autoconnection of both inputs and outputs. These options seem to work correctly. If I choose to not connect inputs, then creating new tracks happens without the inputs being conencted. With this knowledge I think this bug should just address only what the button 'Auto-connect new tracks' in Windows->Options_Editor->Misc. is trying to do. does it do anything? Does it correctly override the setting that is chosen when I create a new session? Once I make a choice on a new session, is there any way to change it later? |

i removed the "auto connect" option from the global configuration. its purely a session-specific parameter now, and can be set either at session creation or later via the options editor. |
