Not sure if this is related, but I have a similar situation at the moment: 1. Create mono track and add a region (captured or otherwise) - panner remains single channel 2. Add 2-in 2-out VST plugin - panner becomes 2 channel panner 3. Change panning positions to arbitrary positions. 4. Save session and exit ardour 5. Start ardour and restore session At this point the panner states are restored to full left and full right respectively, not at the positions they were saved at. On IRC the other day, someone mentioned that this may be the locale issue. I don't seem to have any locale set specifically though - on running 'locale', LANG and LC_ALL are blank, and all other values are set as POSIX. |

just wanted to mention that the steps i stated above are deterministic. I am using CVS from a couple of days back: bash-2.05b# ardour --version Ardour/GTK 0.534.0 running with libardour 0.835.0 |

panner state restoration is believed fixed in 0.9beta20. if the initial report is still relevant with beta20, please add a note to confirm. otherwise i will close this report by november 5th. |
