Summary0007143: Ardour splits clips at random places
DescriptionI want to split a clip, but I have no idea how Ardour decides to do it. I put the playhead where I want it, and Ardour seems to just split it wherever it feels like splitting it. I think I got it to split it at the right place after the 5th or 6th time. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/gy84wMgdKRs

This is not a bug. You have your edit point set to mouse. See attached screenshot for menu location.
