| Summary | 0007089: The proposal to make the mouse zoom steps smaller | ||||
| Description | After an attentive watching I've noticed: 1 step of scrolling of the mouse wheel + Ctrl = ?2 horizontal zooming 1 step of scrolling of the mouse wheel + Shift = about 175-180 px horizontal shifting For my opinion, it's so much jumping. If somebody could decrease steps of zooming (from (x2) to (x0.2-0.8) & from (175px) to (20-100px)) - it could be more comfortable and smooth navigating. The super-feature could be - the possibility to change the value of mouse-wheel zooming! I had already wrote about this one day here: https://community.ardour.org/node/13544 and now decided to sound this question in Bug Tracker. Thanks! | ||||

While we could introduce a scaling variable for both those operations I would be interested know what you think of the feature implemented for http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=6768 and whether it helps in your workflow. |

Thanks, timbyr, for your feature! I've wrote a feedback in your bug track issue (http://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=6768 [^]) |
