| Summary | 0006951: feature request | ||||
| Description | This is a feature request. When a person adds a MIDI track there is an area where a piano keyboard appears. If one makes the track really wide, the piano keyboard gets larger to accommodate the midi notes. My feature request is to enable right mouse button in the piano area to launch a separate window with a more full virtual keyboard displayed. Perhaps embed launching Virtual Midi Keyboard (v1.9) or something like that, if that is possible? instead of making the track wide to see all the keys. thanks. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | add midi track right mouse button in piano display area. nothing happens. left mouse button plays a note. | ||||

Right click on the record enable button of a MIDI track and click on "step edit". It isn't precisely what you want, but its a lot closer. |

I didn't know that existed! It looks like it will work well. I was intuitively thinking it should launch from where the piano is shown when the track is expanded. I guess it would be too difficult to have two places to launch it? in any event mark this as closed. thank you. |
