| Summary | 0006919: Inserts on midi tracks cannot output midi data, and cause wrong loop detection. |
|---|
| Description | Inserts on a midi track (e.g. with only midi data at that point) don't send midi data. They do receive midi data correctly, though.
Also, if the send of an insert is connected to a midi track and the output of that track to the receive part of the insert, Ardour warns there is a loop, but there isn't. |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Create two MIDI tracks, and an insert on MIDI 1 towards MIDI 2 in. Play some midi content into MIDI 1. MIDI 2 should show this content too, and doesn't.
Try to connect the output of MIDI 2 to the return port of the insert in MIDI 1 and notice the blinking red "Return". |
