Want to to confirm this with Ardour/GTK 0.529.3 libardour 0.827.4. Is something like a major issue at the moment as I am running into trouble with levels/normalization because of peaks i oversaw before splitting takes etc. etc. But then again I'm not even sure what would be the right behaviour -- sometimes I'd need a *context menu* option to "denormalize" takes as opposed to wandering back through undo-history. Does Paul's note to ardour-devel (08-6-2004) that says "undo after normalize-then-cut will now do the right thing" mean the denormalize-after-cut is the wanted behaviour? |

This is fixed now, I'm not sure when, but Ardour 0.565.4 lib 0.851.5 keeps normalisation when a take is split. This bug can be marked resolved now, I should imagine. |
