| Description | When the Regions tab is selected in the editor list, and you select 'Import to Region List' from the context menu, the import dialog will sometimes default to add files 'as new tracks'. This could accidentally lead to someone importing a load of files as new tracks when intending to only add them to the region list. I can reproduce this every time with a freshly opened session (doesn't have to be a new session). The first time you open up the import dialog from the 'Import to Region List' entry, it will default to 'as new tracks'. If you open up the import dialog a second time using the same menu entry, it will then work correctly, with add files 'to region list' selected by default. I have a feeling that I've witnessed it sporadically change at other times but can at least reproduce it consistently when a session is freshly opened. I will add additional information if I can prove, and reproduce, it happening in other circumstances. Tested on A4.2 bundle. | ||||
| Additional Information | On a side note, is the 'as' redundant in the 'Add files as...' text. Seeing as the options start with 'to' or 'as', wouldn't 'Add files ...' work? | ||||
