| Summary | 0006565: Guitarix plugins don't work as expected. Work fine in other LV2 hosts. | ||||
| Description | When using the GxAmplifier-X or the GxCabinet LV2 plugins from Guitarix, sound is not altered by changing the cabinet model or the cabinet (ammount) knob. Other parameters in the plugin do alter the sound. When loading the same plugins in Carla or Jalv, with custom or generic guis, the sound is altered by said parameters. Also, the stand alone version of Guitarix works fine when changing the cabinet parameters. Things I have tried: Compiled Ardour from git, used a nightly build, used Ardour 4.2 from Arch Linux repos, used lilv library from svn, compiled Guitarix from git using --convolver-ffmpeg flag to avoid fftw3 issue that affects some audio plugins, Manjaro Linux, Ubuntu 14.04 with guitarix and ardour from KXStudio repos. And the issue is always there. Also, I added some printf() statements in the plugin code and I can verify that it is receiving messages to change the parameters from Ardour. I also filed this in Guitarix bug tracker as I'm not sure if this is a Guitarix or an Ardour issue: https://sourceforge.net/p/guitarix/bugs/24/ | ||||
