| Summary | 0000651: region layering | ||||
| Description | las: during the last week, i had a part that needed 32 overdubs, the performer couldn't get it right. the region layering became messed up so older takes/regions were positioned on top. i don't know how to go about filing a mantis for something like that. it's kind of an outside occurence. | ||||

this happened to me once as well I think it was las that suggested to use playlists Yesterday worked on a session like this: Record 3 tracks. I dindn“t like the material on one track so I created a new playlist in that track and recorded new material in that track in that playlist. Remember playlists can now be renamed. PS: I suggested a way to hide and/or unhide regions to make it easier to work with regions that look on top of each other. I had no luck do. |

since this was reported, layering has been completely reimplemented using a different model. |
