I've seen this as well. For me it's more often stray lines (more like chickensk's zoom09 and zoom10 screenshots) rather than filled rectangles, but I've seen rectangles at times too. Moving an automation point can trigger this, or perturb it if it's already messed up. I've also found that changing the zoom level usually cleans things up - sometimes it takes a couple steps. I'm on Fedora 21 with KDE running in a VNC session. |

Still seeing this on Ardour 6.0-pre1. (FYI only -- it isn't claimed to be fixed, but 0006653 reminded me of it, so I thought I'd check.) Attaching a couple screenshots at different zoom levels. zoom1 is out far enough to see the way it should look (mark1 and mark3 are about 1m43s apart); zoom2 and zoom3 are much farther in, and are messed up in somewhat different ways. zoom2.png (23,004 bytes) zoom3.png (23,248 bytes) |

The issue happened if you zoomed in far enough so that the distance to the next (or previous) automation point at the given zoom-level was more than 32768 pixels. |
