hard to say without a backtrace and I was not able to reproduce this. However Ardour 4.1-23-gdb2fc7e has a potential fix (an uninitialized variable can make this issue rather random) |

I have the issue with 4.1.0 crashing with Session | Recent. On the same Ubuntu 14.04 machine, version 4.1.284-dbg doesn't crash. |

Thanks for testing. We meanwhile also managed to get a backtrace on IRC that confirmed the original issue and it's indeed fixed in git. |
