Summary0006356: deleting a linuxsampler plugin freezes ardour and affects linuxsampler
DescriptionWhen you add linuxsampler plugin to a MIDI track an then delete it, after recording the output to an audio track; (since you are done with the instance of linuxsampler and to release PC load) that slows Ardour4 for a moment and makes messes or crashes linuxsampler. Sometimes that crashes Ardour4 too; after that point it is imposible to load another linuxsampler plugin without restarting the PC.
I have tried resetting Jack, and ALSA and MIDI bridges, but only restarting the PC works in order to bring back linuxsampler.

I hope this helps to improve this great DAW, thank you for the hard work.

Update June/01/2005

I just used Ardour4 with the Jack server running alone, and linuxsampler and Ardour4 run smoothly without this issue now.

This problem does not happen when I use Jack running alone. Only when I activate AlSA audio Jack Bridge, and ALSA MIDI Bridge options on Cadence is when linuxsampler plugin and Ardour4 get messed up.
