| Description | This summarizes issues 6301, 6302, 6305 and 6342. 1) The Profile Editor does not provide a method of resetting a value. This can only be done by hand editting the profile file. 2) The profile editor has many buttons listed that do not do anything. These are buttons that some MCP overlays do refer to but are named differently on the stock hardware surface. This can be quite confusing as there are duplicate button names, one of which works and the other that does not. 3) There is a blank line in the transport section that should say "Transport/ToggleExternalSync" This same line is missing from the Window -> Key Bindings Dialog and so is probably not the profile editor itself. 4) The profile editor creates some *.profile entries that ardour gives errors for when it tries to reload them. The log window shows errors like: [ERROR]: Unknow button ID "Midi Tracks" I can probably fix all of these except for 3 (I may figure that out given time but would leave it for last) I would be removing any entries that do not have a button with that label on the mackie surface. That is any entries that do not have a keycode (Midi note number) somewhere. | ||||

Problems 2 and 4 are solved with the patch attached to 6342 problem 3 has been fixed. (6305) problem 1 has been fixed too (6301) |
