Summary0006231: Summary box behavior when dragging time-wise
DescriptionThe new and much improved re sizing in summary view is much welcome. However the new restrictions that followed the improvements are IMHO not welcome as much.

The nice feature that many people enjoyed to be able to without planning or even thinking, just put the mouse pointer down to the summary area and drag the project somewhere horizontal was super nice. This is no longer true since everything bellow the grey box in the summary view is vertically restricted. one must carefully find the grey box and plan where to grab to be successful in the previous really fast way to "pan" (in the Cad software way) the project.

If I could wish, the old behavior re: global universal time-travel behavior combined with the new restricted behavior would be best, restrictions would apply only close to the edges of the grey box. that way people could keep using the time-travel(tm) without carefully planning how to make the trip ;)

To give one example where the new behavior is limiting the (my) workflow.

If editing some parts in a track and having the track vertically fully expanded (shortcut f) it will be rather difficult to find a spot to grab in the summary box where one can easily move back or forward in time. It is possible but everything under the expanded track is forced to adjust the height or adjusting vertically.

If you still do not experience this as a major draw back, well then I will just back off and never mention this again.
