| Summary | 0006150: Ardour crashed on adding Audio track and make impossible to reopen the session. Probably due to a corrupted midi file. | ||||
| Description | Ardour crashed when I was trying to add a new audio track. In the session there were already three tracks, 2 midi and 1 audio. After the crash I was unable to reopen the session because it crashes during the session loading. I tried also to launch ardour by shell and when it crashes on loading, the output is this: ------ ardour-3.5.403: ../libs/evoral/src/libsmf/smf_load.c:560: parse_next_event: Assertion `buffer_length > 0' failed. Aborted (core dumped) ------ After that I tried to import one by one the audio and the midi files from the broken session in a new one and I found that with 2 midi files it crashes suddenly when the import dialog window it opens. On attachment one of the midi files that causes the crash. Thanks, bye. Frank | ||||
