Summary0006134: Consolidating MIDI ranges with notes that span those regions causes the notes to disappear
DescriptionObserved with nightly build 3.5.4262 but present in other builds

If you create a MIDI region (for example 1 bar) and draw a MIDI note across the entire region (for example a held chord for 1 bar) then duplicate this region if you try consolidating these 2 regions together with the range selection tool and selecting 'Consolidate without processing' any notes spanning the region will disappear from the region.

I believe this was a display issue, fixed in 3.5-4297-g8565470 along with 0006124. Can't reproduce anymore after that.

Thanks very much drobilla for your work on this, unfortunately in my case it's not resolved. Any feedback or advice appreciated.

I can reproduce with 3.5-4307-ga58730e

looks like some off-by-one (but I can't find it).

A simplified version to reproduce:

Consolidate two regions, each 1 beat long containing the same 1 beat long note.
(use step entry). The consolidated region has one note 2 beats long (no note-off in the middle). moving the note on and off away from the region boundary fixes this.
