| Summary | 0006110: Edit (internal edit) tool should not allow box-selection of regions | ||||
| Description | if you have control points and regions selected, then clicking "delete" will only delete the fader points. this is confusing because the regions show that they are selected, but you can't delete them. The "Edit" tool is for internal editing so it should not select regions at all. To reproduce: given an audio track with audio regions and some fader automation: Select the Edit tool. box-select some fader points, and also select the audio region. Click "delete". the fader points will disappear but the regions will still show they are selected. NOTE 1: if the box-select is initiated from a midi track, it is not possible to select a region, you can only get midi notes. this is correct operation. NOTE 2: in "Grab" (i.e. object) tool, you can select both regions and fader automation, and delete them. I think that is well and good. | ||||
